"I experienced a problem with my 2012 Harley, Switchback while on a ride Friday afternoon, May 31, 2013. The battery discharge light came on while I was traveling south on Rt 1A, near Frankfort, ME. I pulled off the roadway and turned off the engine. I waiting a couple of minutes and started the bike. I discharge light did not come on, so, I proceeded on my way, but the light appeared again. I decided to take the bike to Central Maine Harley. While I was enroute about five minutes from the dealership the electrical system lamp appeared. I proceeded to the dealership and spoke to the Service Manager, David Messer. He said they were very busy and since it was a Friday afternoon they would try to get my bike back to me by Wed, June 5th. He said if there was a window of opportunity they get to me sooner. David called me Sat morning, Jun 1 and said my bike should be ready by noon. The problem was a voltage regulator. We were having very nice weather and I greatly appreciate the outstanding service provided by David Messer and his department. David and the Service Dept are to be commended for their outstanding and prompt service."
